Starbucks Seattle!

Music: My Love Will Get You Home - Christine Glass

15 hour plane rides are agonizing. Has anyone ever told you that? My entire body aches and my toes are constantly cold. I wore flip flops because security screenings are such a hassle to go through.

Right now I am typing this from Seattle's international airport (which is called Tacoma I think? I'm not too sure). Outside, the temperature is about 8 degrees in Celcius and skies are overcast with a little bit of rain earlier. It's a beautiful day. I sit next to big glass windows, watching as planes take off and ascend into the skies. Alaska Air. United Air. Skywest Air. I know all their logos even.

I wish I had my camera with me. I look outside past the airport and wish I had the chance to enter the city. Seattle has always been one of my favorite cities. The next trip here, I'll make it a point to layover for a day or two.

I bought my first cup of Starbucks and lemon poppy muffin. I'm in Seattle so obviously I'd have to my cup of coffee. For those of you who don't know, Seattle is the city where Starbucks originated. Very cool, huh? ;)

My experience here earlier has been pretty traumatizing. My bags were inspected, I was questioned and my honesty doubted. It was scary but I did what they all tell me to do: co-operate :)

Thankfully, I got past customs and security but at the expense of losing my original flight. Now I have to wait another 2 hours for the afternoon flight into Denver. I'm sick of flights. I just wanna be there already.

But I'd have to say this journey hasn't been to bad. I brushed my teeth a lot for the sake of wanting to feel clean. Now I have this desperate need to wash my hair. Made friends with this guy from the military who is only now going home after 2 years serving in Korea. Then I met another guy who studies in Singapore but is now coming back to get married to his fiance! Then a really friendly Japanese girl called Yumi who is here to see her sister. She was so much fun. Some of the best conversations I've had in a while.

Just in time to end the post as my plane has arrived and I just have to pack up to get ready for boarding. The next time you guys here from me, I'll be writing in from Denver and hopefully, some photos yeah?

Until then.
