I am currently running on too little sleep and too little food. I only had one meal today because of my (finally) hectic classes and so I had no time to squeeze any food in between. But I don't really care because I'm used to skipping meals anyway. It's a bad habit, I know.
I woke up too early for my liking this morning eventhough I didn't have lessons until 12.40. I had some guests from the States over last night so we had to live with their jet lagged bodies for one night. As expected, they slept at 3 and was up by 6. Biological clock's all messed up man.
I only got to bed at close to 2 last night due to the fact that we came home late from the airport. Like I said in the previous post, I accompanied my dad to go help pick them up. I get really excited everytime we make a trip down to the airport. I had to wait half an hour in the arrival for them. For impatient souls, that half hour would be like a trip to hell. I admit, I did get a little restless everytime another Arabian or Korean stepped out of the gates because they were not who I was looking for.
But while waiting, I had the chance to just stare at random people walking by or people who were waiting. I spotted a wife, who was anxiously waiting for her husband to come back home to her. And I saw a group of teenage girls, probably a year or two older, anticipating the arrival of their bestfriend who flew away to study. I realized while some people hated the airport, I enjoyed standing there in the midst of all the eagerness of the people around me. I managed to see a little girl run out of the door and into her daddy's arms. Somehow, the arrival hall was the place where people most expressed and showed their love and longing for their loved ones. And for once, I'm glad to know that not everything in this world is bad.
It was just like the scene from 'Love Actually' :)
I can finally say that college was tiring today. I had 3 classes in total, with only a 20 - 30 minute break in between them. I practically spent my whole day in the ADP building today.
English 101 was one of my bigger classes. I'm keen on learning more during this class. Sounds pretty interesting. Plussss, there's definitely eye candy in this class. I shall be getting the schoolgirl crush soon. x) My speech went better than I'd expected it to. We had the feedback and constructive criticism thing going on and I didn't get much negative points, except that my voice was too soft. Must've been the nerves.
Computer was a drag, literally. My lecturer went on and on about hardware, software yada yada. The only uplifting thing I heard was that we were going to be able to design our website by the end of this semester. How awesome is that?! I'm definitely stoked.
I've been hanging around smokers lately. Like the 3 guys I'm closest to, smoke. And not just the one-stick-every-5-hours kind, but the 5 sticks in one hour! Directly opposite.
