Music: Can't Hold On - Melee

Oh god I'm pretty convinced I screwed up my sleeping habits once again. And for some odd reason, my eyes hurt.

My weekend was amazing, because I got to hang out with my girls!

We were at Chui Nee' place, baking. Screw all you skeptics who think modern girls like us are not capable of working a stove. Yes, we did bake cupcakes and no, not one got hurt. Although, there were memorable moments. *coughKARYNcough

sWe lived off fast food for the past two days. It was the epitome of unhealthiness but it was so much fun. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

So I just realized that the English language is such a profoundly complicated language. One word can hold dual even multiple meanings. I was talking to a friend over MSN about a certain word and throughout the entire conversation, I was confused as to what he was saying exactly.

He was talking about how he's currently studying about 'Sex in Asian Countries' and all the while I interpreted it as sex SEX. So obviously was I puzzled! I was thinking what's the difference between the sex in Asia and the sex somewhere else? It still involves a boy and a girl. Or in some exceptional cases...

I'll let it hang there for you to figure it out yourself.

But back to topic, I didn't get what he was trying to say at all! Admittedly, his use of the language isn't the best so there was an obvious obstacle there already.

And then it hit me, was he actually talking about sex as in the gender? The moment that crossed my mind, he asked me, "Have you ever studied about genders?"

That just made me go, "Ohhhhhhh. Now it makes sense!"

Thus, my conclusion today is, to hell with everybody who thinks English is such an easy language. For me, it is far more difficult and inhumanely complex.
