Dream like.
The 2 exact words I'd use to describe my day today. To change all perspectives first and foremost, when I say dream like, I'm not referring to a blissful dream like state, but rather a really blurry and uncomfortably surreal moment.
Tuesdays are always empty. I'd usually make it a point to stay back after class and hang out with friends, but today, I was not up to the entire idea of socializing. I specifically instructed my mom to get me straight after class. Truth is, I wasn't feeling really well. Even during class, I could hardly muster up the strength or attention to comprehend whatever he was scribbling and mumbling up there.
I know it's the wrong attitude to have, especially during Math class. But I guess just once won't hurt? And I have a perfectly good reason for slacking.
Came home and really lost all my mood to work on the dreaded speech. I just want to get it over and done with. I hate practicing with my false smiles and stupid tones, just to make the grades. Can't I just write my speech out? Meh.
Instead, I spent the entire afternoon finishing up the novel I bought a while ago.
Twilight.
When I first read it, I acted rather detached towards the whole story line. For those of you who don't know, it's basically a fictional book that revolves around young impulsive love and vampires. Anyway, initially I got round to finishing half of it and I felt like it seemed rather dry and somewhat predictable. This time however, something prompted me to flip open the pages once again and as I carried on reading, it got interesting and without realizing it, I find myself now lost within the pages of this soft cover book and eager to read more.
I'm proud to say that I finished it and whatever thoughts I had before this about the story are now completely reversed, flipped and toppled over. Stephanie Meyer has indeed taken vampires to a whole new level and you have no idea what I would give to date a vampire boy. Ohhh yeaaahh.
Yes, Adelina is officially on the Twilight bandwagon, along with the other 67 million hormonally unstable teenage girls out there, swooning over Edward and wanting so badly to be his Bella. It's a passionate love story. I beckon all of you to read and you'll know exactly what I mean.
Good news is, for all you non-reading human beings (shame on you, by the way) the movie is set to out by the end of this year. It's now in the filming stages and I couldn't be happier with the cast members. All except for the most crucial one, which Robert Pattinson managed to steal.

Yes, all you Harry Potter lunatics, I mean fanatics. "Cedric Diggory" is playing the role of the most beloved Edward Cullen. Robert has landed the role of lead actor is this highly anticipated teenage movie. Imagine his ego right now. First the ever so finely chiseled Cedric and now the perfect Edward? Personally, I think he looks a little too tough and masculine to be Edward.

But I'm not the director of this movie, so technically, I'll have to reserve these comments to myself. I'm assured though, the professionals will know best. Either way, I'm equally as pumped for the movie.
Isabella or Bella will be played by Kirsten Stewart.

So commit to memory this date;
12th December 2008
12.12.08.
Not something worth missing.
