I heard this song yesterday in Giant while helping my mom and suddenly, I fell in love with it. Isn't it strange how things just catch you by surprise. Thankfully, this is a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't mind falling in love with good tunes every now and then.
I was reading back from my previous entries from like a month or two ago when it hit me; I am no good with words.
I read through line after line, progressing from one paragraph to another and I realized how utterly bland they were. It was all so mediocre, so average, so...common. It was disgusting. I was appalled. I wish I was better sometimes. I wish I had the spark or the "oomph", as they say. I wish my words weren't so lackadaisical.
We were reaaaally late for church. Missed the entire one hour of bible study! The church was as usual filled to the brim with a lot of guests. Had a surprise visit from Naveen and Vinod! I know you're reading this. Lurker.
Choir was tough. We have a performance coming around the corner and we've only got 2 out of 5 songs done. Teacher's depending on us, the "elder ones", to pull it off. Her expectations are sky high. Gah.
Had dinner at Parkway and Kok Seng was at the table directly behind us! I remember the time we were 15 and we were in the same tuition, he would always grumble he was hungry. And he would crave for Chinese food from Parkway. Hahahahaha. Wasn't that randomly funny? No? Well, I thought it was.
After that, my dad decided to stop by at the local fish shop. I jumped at the opportunity and got myself 2 new pets!
Meet Stonecold and Undertaker. HAHAHAHAHA YES. I decided to name my fishes after legendary entertainment wrestlers. They are fighting fishes after all. Naming them something like Mr. Wiggles wouldn't be too macho and might just make them a tad bit depressed, no?
I'm gonna go be the good student I am and start my English research. No, you have no rights to comment on that last sentence.
PS: Absolutely no flow today. Hate it.
