Music: Bittersweet - Fuel

I finally caved in and went to bed at 4 last night despite the tiring day. My mind was heavy and fogged with thoughts of all sorts. The dreams I had were worse. I'm just thankful I can barely remember them anymore.

Anyway, had a meet up with Gordan and the gang last night. Headed to Republic for the first time ever. It was pretty. Very seductive and posh deco. Dim lights, elaborate chandeliers, velvet couches and cushions. Plus, they had this runway like entrance which just added a little bit more twist to the entire setting.

We shared a huge margarita tower among 11 people. I wanted to try Long Island Iced Tea initially but it was pretty pricey and we had already ordered something. I'll just leave it to another time.

It would've been better if matters of the heart weren't involved last night. But I should cut him some slack. These things are inevitable and we've all had our fair share of that. So if by any chance you happen to stumble upon this entry, I'm asking you to cheer up.

Pictures say more than what words can sometimes.

Gordan leaves in 2 days! It still feels like he just got back and now he has to fly away once again. One more month and it'll be over. Can hardly wait.

We filled our glasses from top to bottom,
and we drink with their bottom's up
When the music fades and the lights go down
tell me, what part of you is left real?
