Music: Leavin' - Jesse McCartney
I think it's insane that I'm currently listening to Jesse McCartney's latest single. Although, I have to admit how much I enjoy it. Oh God, I'm drunk. Or drugged. Or both! Sound the alarms and lock me up in a padded room. And somebody my feed my eardrums with more distortion and power chords instead of semi-detached hip hop beats.
At this point, you must realize that I do exaggerate from time to time. Honestly, I don't think it's that bad. It fits right into today's mainstream R&B/HipHop/Soul sound. The kid can sing and hey, he co-produced Bleeding Love. He deserves the credit. Not just another pretty face this boy. The song has got this sick infectious beat throughout and obviously, I cave when it I hear them. It's a good party song, for sure.
But rest assured, after I'm done listening to it for about 20 times, I'll be over the whole song. There's just so many times I can bare listening to something like that. Now now, I'm not discriminating their genre of music. I'm just saying, we've all got our preferences and I just happen to get over r&b rather quickly. Don't hold me against it. I'm sure it's good because it's a new breed of guilty pleasure.
I spent the whole of last night watching Season 4 of Grey's. I still love their twisted relationships and horrible mood swings. Oh and their sex! Never forgetting their sex. They get it anywhere, anytime. AND they're still able to save lives! Inspiring they are.
I think it's amusing how someone is able to bring me down merely by saying something in the span of 30 seconds. Seriously, 30 seconds is all it took to get me angered, frustrated and annoyed all at the same time. At moments like these, I play Bailey's word in my head. Rise above it, rise above it. All hail the Nazi! I shall rise above it. 2 years. 2 years and I'm done. 2 years and I'm gone.
Oh btw, you'll have to be watching Grey's to catch that bit. So sue me for your lack in attaining and watching proper drama series.
I'm anxious about my stupid graded speech/act. I'll have to push all boundaries and be the brat- I mean best princess there is.
Schedule resumes tomorrow.
