I really am running short of ideas on how to start of my daily posts. In speech today, we learned that the introduction to every speech is of the utmost importance. Basically, it either makes you tune in or tune out of the speech. A boring beginning obviously makes you feel like stepping out of the room.
Back to the point, which was no point really. I haven't started on any. Alright I'm starting a monologue. Sorry, I forget that this is for the public view.
I had to practice for the skit, AGAIN. Ha see what I mean when I tell you my life is on repeat. But the show is on Friday and it's graded thus, we have to make the best out of it. Good thing is that my other classmates and team mates are as dedicated to this silly skit as much as I am. So we all practice together which definitely livens things up.
While the rest left for class, I hung around with Cheryl, Sam and Stephanie to finish up our promotional fliers. The highlighters are pretty.
Conversation of the day,
Dad: What time is your class tomorrow?
Me: 11, until 6. Why?
Dad: I bought you..
Me: Bought me what? *secretly hoping it was a laptop!
Dad: Bought you a..
Me: What? What?
Dad: Bought you a fruitcake downstairs in the fridge
Me: ...
I gave him the most unbelievable look ever and walked away. I don't even like fruitcakes! They're disgusting.
