Music: Love Song Requiem - Trading Yesterday

I'm feeling flushed and my eye lids are heavy. I'm not sure if that's good news or not. My cheeks are really warm but my hands are icy cold. Maybe it's the weather but admittedly, I'm not feeling too well.

Pray I don't fall sick this semester. I have too much work and too little time to even consider giving in to illness.

Anyway, last night we had a small dinner celebration for my dearest friend, I-Jing :)

Creamy Jing.

We headed to Sushi Zanmai first for dinner but it was a Friday night so there was a crowd over at that place.

Bumped into Reagan there! He was busy busy because of the crowd. And apparently, the system crashed last night so it was pretty chaotic. You would know if you've ever waitressed without a functioning computer system. Very confusing and messy.

I've never been a big sushi fan so I had no idea what to order. But we came to a consensus and agreed that we would just share a whole lot of dishes so it would be easier. In the end, there was a lot variety and we were stuffed. I must say, we did make the best out of our time there.

The copious amount of food!

Birthday girl wasn't looking my way =\

After that really fulfilling dinner, we headed over to Republic for a drink or two. I really wanted to get my Long Island Iced Tea but we settled for a margarita tower among the 5 of us. Figured it would be more worth our money that way.

2 litres of pure margarita babyy.

Before that, we designated Chui Nee to go get a slice of cake for Jing. It won't be a birthday celebration without cake and song. It's tradition!

Happy Birthday to youuuuuu!

We sat and talked there while enjoying our drink for a good hour or so. Talked about issues that were plaguing our lives at the current moment and it did feel good getting most of it out. Discussed about everything from relationships to personal ambitions. I liked how we can just get everything out in the open. It was a somewhat relieving :)

The night ended early due to transportation problem. Having a license is one thing. Having a car is an entirely different story grr.

I went to bed really late last night but I had to get up pretty early because I had a date with Michelle and Cheryl. We were going down to KL for the day and our main mission was to find some really good cheesecake! Cheryl had one of her sudden cravings again.

Stopped by Sungei Wang first to see if we could get anything decent. Well I didn't mainly because of the lack of cash but Cheryl managed to get something. Lucky.

Met up with Yeaw Khuan shortly after and our search began. Apparently, we were to look for this bakery called The Loaf. But we mistaken it for the The Loft before so when we went around asking for it, no one knew where it was.

Then lo and behold, it was right in front of the main road we were facing. And of course, it was called The Loaf. Cheryl was very excited hahaha.

We tried the cheesecakes there and yeah they were pretty good.

It was a good clear day but without any harsh sunshine. So we sat outside and enjoyed our pastries. Had a good view of people crossing the streets. Did some people watching of course. It was fun watching them. Their little actions and gestures. Some were really funny.

Michelle and her little belated birthday cake.

We finally left and entered the Pavilion to walk around. Obviously, no shopping could be done there. So we ended up roaming around the complex for a couple of hours. When we finally decided to leave, it started pouring heavily! How convenient.

Sat at the stairs while waiting for the rain to subside. Pictures are a definite necessity in times of boredom.

The best group picture I had.

A pretty good blur picture ;p

Finally, we resorted to the fact that the rain would not be going anywhere anytime soon so we decided to grab something to eat. Asyraf met us for a short while and then he was off to catch a movie with friends while we headed over to Low Yat Plaze because Yeaw Khuan wanted to buy his webcam.

We were dead tired in the car. He took pity on us so he left us in there while he ran to get his gadget. Somehow, we managed to spring back into life and started taking silly pictures in the car. It was really hilarious!

Emo shots next!

And then suddenly, I had this idea of making moustaches our faces. Michelle hopped into the backseat to play along. The pictures turned out amazing by my standards hahahaha!

HAIL HITLER?

Died in the car on the way home. Yeaw Khuan took all the trouble to send us home instead of just dropping us at the nearby train station. Sigh.

It's a constant battle for me. Every waking moment is a struggle. Putting you at the farthest corner of my mind turned out harder than expected. Everyday I pray for courage to get through the hours as strongly as possible, and some days, I do. But there are days where I succumb to being human and admit to myself that I am not strong enough.

In the end however, it doesn't change a thing because I'm alone, picking up the pieces. Whatever remains I can find and just get on with what I have. It's hard lying, and it's hard holding back, but that's what the world intends to see and so, that will be all I give to the world.
