It's best that I finish what I started.
DAY 4
Buffet breakfast and batik painting at the resort. It was a pretty day to be outdoors. Took pictures by the beach later in the evening before coming home for dinner.
DAY 5
Island day. We spent the entire day at Pulau Sapi. Went snorkeling, tanning and basically just soaking up all the goodness of nature.
DAY 6
Today's the day we headed up to the mountains. It was truly something. Mount Kinabalu was amazing and magnificently tall. We could just gape and stare in awe at it.
in the car.
DAY 7
Photo session at a nursery up in the highlands. The flowers there were so beautiful! Especially the orchids. Fat, huge, healthy, happy orchids of different colors. Pink, purple, white, yellow. It was nice walking through the place, just taking in the pretty colors and scents of course.
Fun fact! My favorite flowers are daisies and dandelions ;) Oh and wild flowers as well.
At night, we clubbed with Beatrice (Michelle's bestfriend) and some other random KK people. Cemetery night. *shudders

DAY 8
I'm homeboundddddddd.

Thus concludes my week holiday in the beautiful state of Sabah. One of the best holiday's I've ever had. If you guys have the chance, I highly recommend flying over there and seeing for yourself. Just to prove my point ;p

Sometimes I don't get why people do drugs.
Drugs are amazing. They get you so high, you feel like you're walking on air. The amount of chemicals that are flowing through your system leaves you feeling invincible. The sudden surge of energy you get, the strength, the happiness makes you alive. Finally alive. You're convinced nothing can go wrong. This is perpetual bliss. This is life.
But what happens when the magic wears off? You're back at square one. Identifying with words like dejection, loneliness and emptiness. You're right back down there. In that dark disgusting rut you struggle to come out of.
That's what drugs do to you. It takes you on a ride of a lifetime, you taste the magic and then you plummet. Spiraling all the way down, so fast you can't even feel the fall. But you are falling and scream all you want because no one will hear you anyway.
Ultimately, drugs numb you, deludes you and kills you in the end.
You're like my personal brand of heroin.
My visa interview's tomorrow and I leave in 3 days or so. I haven't packed. I haven't researched. I'm gonna pay for my responsibilities. That I'm pretty damn sure of.
