It's 5.28am right now.

My body is begging me for sleep and rest but I think I won't risk having any of it because I haven't showered.

But I can't shower now because it's 5.28am and it's still dark out.

Usually, my fears don't take a hold of me this badly but this time around, it's an entirely different story with a different catch because I did the stupidest thing ever.

I visited a cemetery at night.

At 3 in the morning to be specific. Of all the hours to drop by. And I swear, I'll never do it ever again. What the heck was I thinking meddling with things like that. It was by far the creepiest thing I've ever encountered in my entire lifetime. Creepier than all the damn horror movies put together, and multiply that by 10.

I am still in KK by the way, and this "trip" was purely spontaneous after our clubbing session. Initially, Cheryl was supposed to come along with us but she felt a little sick so she pulled out. In the end, I had to go alone with the bunch of strangers I just met and Michelle's friend, Beatrice.

They are freaking insane I tell ya.

We drove for like 20 minutes to one of the oldest cemeteries in KK and I thought it would be alright, because there were like 7 of us? And I thought it would at least be bright, with lamps and stuff.

But I was so damn wrong. We had to walk all the way in the dark up the hill into the cemetery and jeez, just recalling the entire experience gives me chills already. The ground was damp from the slight rain and the air was cold and thick. Not the usual warmth that I was boasting about in the previous post.

It was so dark, I couldn't even see where I was walking. I could make out the tombstones of graves that were awkwardly scattered all over the steep hill. We went through the Christian cemetery, and I thought it wasn't too bad. Large white crosses stuck out of the ground, something quite familiar so it wasn't that spooky.

The guys were nuts! They climbed all the way to the top, to where the oldest grave was and honestly, it was so freaking scary for me to follow them up because we had to bypass other graves and I was sooo afraid I would step on one.

Halfway climbing up, the guys ahead suddenly started running down and asked us to quickly leave the place. Obviously, I panicked and ran down the hill as fast as I could. I wasn't going to hang around and see what the heck was happening. We slipped, and rolled down the hill, ignoring the fact that we were staining our pants with mud. I think all we wanted was to get out of the place ASAP.

My heart felt like it was going to leap out of my chest at any moment. I tried to calm myself down by saying that it's all in my mind but at the same time, I couldn't help but to quicken my pace as well.

It was sweet relief when we reached our cars. I didn't dare ask them what happened up there but I found out later that a couple of them heard some pretty unusual noises and got kinda spooked. Thank God I didn't have any personal encounters.

Needless to say, I'm never going through that ordeal anymore. I'm still really scared right now, hence my refusal to go to bed though my feet ache and my eyes can barely keep open anymore.

I went to pee just now and I remembered locking the door, but once I was done, it just mysteriously opened by itself. I really don't wanna think so much into this.

REGRETTTTT. But I'm proud because I made it out alive! Crazy KK kids, I swear.

It's my last night here in West Malaysia and it's been an awesome time. I'll put some pictures up once I get all of them edited and stuff.

I dread going back home currently because everything's just a mess back there. Sigh.

Better be safe than sorry. I honestly think it's just the media that blows the entire situation out of proportion. I mean, yes it could potentially turn into a pandemic and set the entire world into chaos for fear of extinction but right now, I trust us humans are capable of curbing the whole thing before that really happens.
