Updateeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

After I-don't-know-how-many days :)

I've been busy, really. Busy working, touring, HAVING FUN. Basically, that's the agenda.

So I left off about 2 weeks ago with a rather vague/interesting/whatever I don't give a crap post. If you know me well enough, there won't be any clarification to it. I just leave people hanging, or guessing.

So in the past 2 weeks, a lot has happened.

I made 2 new friends, Carmen and Chanae who are from Denver. They're pretty awesome people and very fun to be around! Girl nights are always with them.

Last campfire was so much fun despite the crummy weather outside. This was about a week ago. Conversation revolved around sexy things ;) And personal experiences, I think. I can hardly remember because I shared a Peach Schnapps with Corey. With 2 other drinks in my hand. He said I was a bit "loopy" that night. The terms he uses.

I taught him handshakes, from back home and we played thumb wars. Obviously, he took advantage of that and won all the matches. His hands are so much bigger than mine. I couldn't even win him with 2 hands. It is rather pathetic, I know. Payback? I stole his glasses for two days. He's forced to use walk around without them and use contacts instead, which he hates because he's so lazy.

Last weekend, I had Saturday off so we went camping! I was so excited because I last camped when I was like 12, on an island. A whole bunch of us went and we made there before dark so we could set our tents up. We went out to Bismarck Lake, about 20 minute drive from the dorms.

We made campfire marshmellows.
My god were they good.

Camping was so much fun before the rain came. The fire was blazing, or the word for that night was sweltering. Hahahaha. We played hula hoops, laughed over different issues. I was part of the joke for the night because I wore sandals out to camp. The temperature that night was about 5 or 6 degrees out. And then it rained and made everything even colder. I was freezing my ass off. Katie had to borrow me her boots and I took Tony's jacket (the black one up in the picture)

Honestly, it was horrible sleeping out in the cold but the fun we had made up for it I suppose.

That's the fog that stayed with us the entire weekend.
It was pretty bad, almost all outdoor plans were canceled :(
Thankfully it cleared up about a day or two ago.

That's for being missing. Life has been getting better lately and I'm getting used to having cold fingers and a red nose most of the time because of the cold. It's a weird summer up here hahaha.

I almost got transferred out of the kitchen to housekeeping last week because they were lacking people in that department. I so did NOT want to go there because I love my co-workers. They're so wacky and they constantly look out for me, so why should I complain. Plus, the kitchen crew are the coolest people in the resort, so I'd never ditch that. Thank god I'm staying where I am this time.

Also, I think I might extend my stay out here in South Dakota to attend the biker festival in Sturgis. It's the biggest event of the year and Aerosmith is going to be thereeeee! So if there's a chance I can stay, I'm definitely doing it.

The rain stopped and I'm going to dinner before going for a hike with Chanae and Drew probably. I hope the weather stays good tonight for a fire!

I wish I could bring some Malaysian sun and warmth up here, sigh.
