7 days.
I'm of mixed feelings currently. I don't know if I want to go home just yet, but then again, I don't know if I stomach anymore work or drama out here.
But let's just skip all that for now.
Yesterday was one hell of a day for me. It started out real early and ended too late.
August 5th, 2009: Aerosmith Live at the Buffalo Chip, Sturgis 2009!
Ohhhhh yeaaaaaahhhhhhh! Me, Lars and Jes left at 6 in the morning just to travel out to Sturgis which is about an hour and a half away from Custer. We ran a couple of errands before that too.
L to R: Me, Lars, Jes.
We arrived at about 10 in the morning. Got our tickets and headed into the campground. Jes could not wait to start drinking, even if was still in the am. The deal was pretty sweet though! We get 1 dollar beers from 9 to 5, daily. How can you resist dollar beers?! Of course, we took turns having a swig or two from her mug.
It was a lazy day out at there. I walked around and checked out the vendors. There were tattoo and piercings parlors, food stalls, merch booths and of course, a whole lot of pubs that were open in the morning. Other than that, all I did was lay out in the sun and talked to the friendlier people that passed me by.
He was one of them.
I don't remember his name, but he was a really cool old drunk ;)

Honestly, I don't remember every single detail there is to the day. It's all been a big blur because I met so many random people out there. However, by 5pm, we all gathered in front of the stage and waited for the shows to come on.
Saving Abel was up first and all I gotta say is my god the lead singer can sing. They played an awesome set and I think everything was perfectly on-key. Could not get enough of them, really.
Here's the last verse of their song Addicted.
It started to rain right after their set was over. But obviously, that did not deter us from waiting for Aerosmith to come on. We stood out in the rain, drinking beer after beer for about half an hour. It was awesome, just hanging out and being crazy like that.
Finally, the stage was set and there before us stood Steven Tyler, with long scarfs tied onto his mic stand, looking like the stunner he is with a shiny top hat and a silver blazer that glittered.
Here's their opening song. Try spotting him.
The moment my eyes latched on to him being on stage, I was just overwhelmed with awe and excitement. I could not believe that Steven Tyler was literally 20 feet in front of me. He is such a legend. At age 61, he's still rocking out like that. I swear he's part God.
However, the concert was cut short because an accident happened. Google Steven Tyler in Sturgis and you would probably get the entire story already. But that didn't stop me us from having an amazing time out there. I met a couple of good fellas and had a good time just hanging out :)
Reached back home at 3 in the morning, feeling so tired. Crashed and had to work again today. That sucked!

I'm tired and my clothes need to be dried. I NEED MORE QUARTERS! Until another update, people.
