Music: -

It storms, every evening.

Ugly black clouds hover above my head and I just anticipate it's wrath, that surprisingly comes down beautifully in heavy droplets and bassy rumbles.

:)

All afternoon, I have done nothing but drown myself in words of another. Reading of his accomplishments, fears, trauma's, relieves and doubts. I feel it somewhat bipolar, swinging from the extreme end of one on to the other. Self-confidence versus worthlessness. I love his darker thoughts of insecurities and his strive to be better. Then there are his words on his perversion and lust, written as casually as it ought to be.

I smile as I continue to browse through. The things I would do to gain one night spent with him, conversing on every spectrum of life. Though significantly mature in age, he is complex, tangled intricately by his simple encounters of life.

Books. Runs. Music. Food. Booze.

The light in my room flickers, but I feel the need to write. And I think I need to throw some clothes on and clean my room, though living in filth does not bother me at all, it definitely sparks comments from the other people I share this roof with.

It probably will be intimidating spending time with him. Intimidating but intoxicating at the same time?

One thing's for sure, I won't look at him the same way again the next time I walk in.

Last night, MOS for their first themed party. Traffic light glow sticks was it, I think. Not too sure on the names.

Anyway, coolest thing was the complimentary glowsticks we received upon entering. As mentioned before, green = single, yellow = "it's complicated" and red = taken.

As usual, MOS on a Thursday is disgustingly packed. Surmounted by the fact that we did not have anything to drink, dancing was exceptionally hard when perfectly sober. Bodies meshing against one another and picking up traces of sweat from everybody while trying to move through is not the least bit pleasant.

So I left the group, and retreated to the bar area behind the DJ booth, watching Patrick Oliver and DJ Nesh make a fool out of themselves. Well, DJ Nesh primarily. Watched with fascination as Patrick Oliver cleverly clicks various buttons and slides the knobs on the engineered board.

Out of nowhere, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around only to be happily presented with a cup of free drink! Compliments of the bartender :) And that continued until the club closed. Probably the best part of the night for me.

It's also really weird for me to actually still be in there til closing time. I'm usually out way before. My escapades ;) Sometimes, I do miss those times. They were fun, undeniably!

Home home, without the usual mamak session.

The title of my percussion performance that was over and done with last Wednesday!
Granted, not much slavery over this but it was still hard work.
Try getting your creative juice flowing and scoring out an entire composition.
Exactly.

The entire thing didn't turn out too bad. It was short in comparison to some of the other groups but I am so proud we pulled it off, with only 3 people! It was a challenge.

Happy happy, we went off to the movies!

Time Traveler's Wife tonight. I wanted to read the book first! :(

Halloween weekend! Working on a tight budget this month. Sigh.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! :)
