It is quite sad to say that I have no bloggable materials whatsoever.
My life has been dull, lacking interest in so many areas but surprisingly, I am okay with that. There are no fancy trips planned this holidays, no drama involved.
Put it quite simply, it has been rather simple :)
The past week has been dedicated to work and friends. Working 8 hours during the day, and hanging out with the friends at night. Things we've been doing include eating (of course), watching movies and as of yesterday, first time at the cyber cafe with the boys.

One of the days in the week (I've totally forgotten when), we watched My Sister's Keeper.

I love Jodi Picoult. Personally, I think she writes from a very experienced and realistic point of view. I've read a couple of her books and though most of them deal with nothing more than the usual pains of life, she manifests them in her writing beautifully and always, always never failing to pull a couple of heart strings.
The movie was based on the first book I'd read and though they've changed it significantly, it still is a very beautiful story. Made EVERY one of us cry while watching it.
I've watched it a total of 4 times now, and every time, it still makes me cry. I think the cast was perfect, script beautifully crafted and as a whole, one of my favorite movies now :)
7/10

If you know, and if you know me well enough, you'd know that I NEVER sit through horror movies. While growing up in high school, I had a couple of close friends who were crazy over horror films and every time we'd go out to celebrate a birthday, choice of movie would ultimately be a horror one. Oh how I dread those days. Forking out money to watch something I absolutely did not want to.
A number of reasons why I watched Paranormal Activity. 1) It was American. Won't be that scary I guess? 2) Had 6 people in the room with me. One of them, makes a joke out of every horror scene. Won't be too bad with him around. 3) Wanted to prove I wasn't such a chicken hahaha
Movie started out reaaaally slow. Lost interest in it for a while but after that, the suspense came and it just got worse then on. All of us were so creeped out by it and the only thing I could say was "Oh my God. Oh my f*cking God."
Scariest movie I've watched in a long time. So if you're a horror buff, I'd recommend it.

Cyber with the boys last night was of mixed feelings.
They promised a Left4Dead session with me but backed out on their words and played DotA instead. Was the first time I got so annoyed with them. Seriously felt like an idiot sitting down there scrolling through Facebook -.-
In the end, I succumbed to watching Grey's and How I Met Your Mother. Luckily, they noticed me being kinda upset and finally agreeing to playing one game. That was after an entire hour and a half.
I don't know why I just can't stay mad at people for long. Like no matter what they do, I'd be angry just for that moment but eventually my anger sizzles away and I'll start laughing at the same jokes again.
Is it a blessing or a curse? I have no idea.
Going back to reading my book now.

I should know that these seemingly lucid moments of bliss will undoubtedly turn to a blur and a haze in an instant. It has always been like that. Question is, how much longer will these uncertain phases last?
