I am getting blind.
Not to say that I have had perfect eyesight before this but it didn't bother me much that certain figures, alphabets and pictures seem fuzzy from a far.
So I put off wearing my glasses because really they were SUCH a hassle. I hate having to have to keep pushing them up just to keep them from falling off my face or constantly wiping them because of the fingerprints.
It's just annoying and I don't have much patience for any of that.
But lately, my eyesight seemed to be deteriorating. It's been giving me headaches and sometimes, I can't even focus properly when looking far away. It gets really scary when I'm driving because I keep having to rub my eye to see far, which is undeniably hazardous!
So, I have to be diligent now and start wearing my glasses. Especially when I'm in front of the computer and in class where I don't have to strain my eyes to look far away.

I now look like this most of the time. I look like this during Econs at 10am, then IR at 11 and of course during Philosophy at 12.30 (especially during this because it makes me look smarter, no?!) It's such a geeky thing but I guess I fit the part somehow or rather. Carrying stacks of books, rushing up the elevator sometimes juggling between holding my orange juice and punching in the floor number; I guess the glasses would make me look more...student-y.

Matters of old age and eyesight aside, I just got done with watching Julie & Julia tonight. Garrick and Jon came over with a pile of dvd's and when I saw the title, I immediately wanted to watch it because Michelle has been talking non-stop about it! Also, it starred Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. I love them both and I trust nothing could go wrong with Meryl. The one and only.
8.5/10
It was a really simple, light-hearted movie based on TWO (yes two, not one) true stories that circled around cooking and food mainly. French cooking, if I might add. Meryl was spectacular in it, playing such a distinct role with very defining characteristics. I guess that's why she's so hard to forget and everybody knows her!
I was so inspired by the movie that I'm actually considering doing some type of little project as well. (If you Google the synopsis, I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about. Don't wanna ruin it for anyone else) But I'm not a good cook, admittedly. I mean, I'd pass with Chicken Noodle Soup and the occasional simple salads but like real cooking? I can barely cook edible fried rice for myself much less tamper with international cuisine.
So, if I were to start on a project, for myself, it'd be something I'm good at and have a passion for, which only be 2 things in my life; music and books. So I don't know. I'm torn but I'll figure something out. A number of books I should read within a month? It's pending and probably just a phase because I'm so excited from the movie! haha
I'm out for now. Another long day tomorrow. Hit me with ideas and I might take up on such a challenge :)
Off to bed for this sepet 8)
I slip, trip, bust my lip; then I fall in love.
