Music: I'm Not Your Toy - La Roux

This is frustrating.

I like thunderstorms. I like rain. I like lightnings. I like it when it pour so hard that it feels as if the roof might cave in anytime.

What I DON'T like is when technology fails us and mother nature gets the best of it. What am I talking about? Electrical appliances being struck dead by nature's wrath. I'm sure you've all been there at some point in your life. I, however, have been there one too many times.

Second time in less than a month my modem is struck dead. This is outrageous! And knowing me, I am heavily dependent on the Internet. I am part geek (not Greek haha) and yes, I will admit that I spend at least half my time on the Internet, the other half asleep. Social life? Zilch. Or well, close to zilch except for the late night mamak sessions and occasional movie.

No internet can die lor :'(

Anyway, I am back in Starbucks this evening, with their annoyingly slow speed but beggars can't be choosers right? Sigh.

Back to real life scenarios. Last semester of college commences tomorrow. Changing my mind from taking 4 subjects to 3 now. Dropping the English research paper. I'm gonna be so busy with applications and preparations to leave, I don't need the extra burden.

Pretty psyched for the Philosophy class I have this semester. I mean, finally a subject, other than Sociology, that needs us to actually think. Scoring in this class will be hard but I'll give it a shot. I'm seriously sick of taking subjects that are dubbed "easy" but utterly boring in nature just because I want to get an A for the sake of my CGPA.

No more of that finally. I'll be transferring with an average 3.4 - 3.5 score realistically speaking, and I'm fine with that. Not like I can do anything about it haha. Staying another semester is NOT an option.

Oh well. Wish me luck for my final sem here and all the crazy US uni applications. The hardest one compared to Australia and UK :\ Time to start translating all my certs, taking my tests, writing essays if needed and applying for scholarships of course :(

Bloodbath begins.
