First day of classes. I don't know if I'm blessed or unfortunate to have my earliest classes start only at 11 in the morning.
One thing's for sure, I wouldn't have to experience and brave the chaotic traffic outside Subang every morning. Another plus point is that I also will not have to get up so early in the morning just for classes.
On the flip side of the coin, my schedule seems so empty. Like empty empty. While most of my friends have classes that sometimes last until the late afternoon, I have classes that only begin in the late afternoon and end an hour later. To me, it feels somewhat too relaxed. I was mentally prepared for the back to back classes, the piling of assignments but all I had so far was a very slow paced Math lesson.
At this point, I must agree that I am a pretty weird kid. Deep down, I long to be caught up the entire works of college life. Of peer pressure, of spending unnecessary money, of having downed so much caffeine just to be awake to finish up homework. Maybe I am tired of my overdue "holiday". Maybe I want to find my sense of purpose and belonging again.
My Math class was alright. It was nothing to complex or complicated. Just enough for me to understand. It was sort of like an introductory lesson. A pre-requisite lesson, they'd call it. My lecturer was a very easy-going on, unlike most Math teachers I know. He talks pretty fast, but not in an excited way, instead in a more stammering sort of fashion and sometimes spoke so soft, it was barely audible. Ohh and I forgot to tell you, he looks like a frog! But not like some hideous toad. Just like a frog :) I don't think I'll have any problems with him.
My class today consisted of only a handful of students. 8 to be exact. It was quiet. And when the lecturer resorted to calling names to answer one of his questions, I was the first to be called. Great. So much for being unnoticed (I sat right at the back)
I finished exactly an hour and a half. Met up with Michelle and had Takoyaki for lunch. My class tomorrow only starts at 2. Gah. But I'll be around the area early to buy some books and whatnot.
By the way, I'm in loveee with the song above. The Beatles are awesomeeee. Retro lasted too short, sigh.
And oh, oh, how could you do it?
Oh I, I never saw it coming.
Oh, oh, I need the ending.
So why can't you stay
Just long enough to explain?
Oh I, I never saw it coming.

So why can't you stay
Just long enough to explain?
