There's something truly exhilarating about being so high up the clouds. I love being in the air. While some people might have some deadly phobia and paranoia about up there, I on the opposite absolutely love it. It's magical watching the world from above. To see how small everything and minute everything really is. And as we escalate higher into the sky, everything below slowly disappears. I wonder if God sees us like that. But I highly doubt it. He sees everything so clearly and not just as little specks or dots from the sky.
Plus, being up there means we get to be amongst the clouds. Especially on a clear day, they seem exceptionally beautiful. Wonders of God's creation is truly remarkable.
As we all clearly know, elections are over! My dad for one is very enthusiastic and deeply moved by this year's results. He is definitely euphoric and very satisfied with the outcome and I guess it's safe to say that there are many many others out there who feel the same.
As for me, I'm glad that BN has taken the fall. We all know it's somewhat crucial for BN to win because they have been the political party that has formed our government since August of 1957. But having such a long reign has definitely made them as complacent as ever.
This year's results has been a painful wake-up call to the leaders of BN. It'll teach them to think twice before wasting 1million ringgit by propelling a man into space for no concrete reason and not to take the things for granted anymore. This shocking defeat will put those men back into their rightful places as well as adding more balance and equality as far as say goes in the parliament. That is something to be thankful for.
This will be one year of change and surprises. I'm fine with it. Just as long as they keep the oil prices down.
Anyhow, this will my last post for the week. I'll be back with tons of pictures (hopefully) and a sun tan. It's going to be hot in Cambodia.
