Ironically also, my dad spent money on me instead of me treating him. Well, my birthday is coming up so he decided to give me an early birthday present. As a result, I have something new to wear this weekend :)
Today was my best Monday by far. Eventhough I woke up feeling really ugly, the rest of the day turned out to be rather good. I felt pretty optimistic and happy. Something that's not familiar even for me.
I guess part of why I felt really good was because I totally nailed my impromptu speech during class. It felt ridiculously amazing. All of you know my current woes with that particular class. But now, for me to actually do well in it is somewhat a miracle. I don't know what got into me but I hope it's there to stay for the rest of my speeches. I didn't get one negative feedback and for once, I didn't feel like a failure. I felt like I was capable of excelling. And excel, I shall.
After college, I headed over to have steamboat with some of my church mates. We got together because a friend from Thailand was visiting. It's always fun seeing them. Best steamboat I've had so far because they had so many things offer. It was a buffet so we had seafood and of course, tons of fishballs. After dinner was the traditional picture taking time. Good times indeed.

Probably not love. For love is such a powerful word to be used lightly. But I believe that first impressions do count and that could lead to something bigger.

Safe to say that I'm not.
