My miserable Saturday didn't end miserably after all. (refer to last post)
After much struggle and undeniable turmoil with facing my assignments, I'm super glad that I had plans for the night- which lasted all the way into the morning :)
As a result, I'm grounded. Apparently, it's for 2 months but I know my way around le parents.
Sneaked out of the house with my dress hidden under some other clothes. Went over to Michelle's place to get ready for the outing. We took an estimated hour to finally be ready. I was pretty surprised but satisfied with the outcome.
Came home at 6 in the morning after a wild(?) night out in KL. All this was in honor of the celebrated birthday boy, Yong Wen.
Went to Maison for the first time ever. Rather small place but the music was decent enough. They were really strict about the age limit though. Feels good to be legal, innit? ;p About 15 people came that night, so we had quite a crowd.
Contrary to popular belief, nothing dramatic happened that night. I promised myself all the self-control in the world and I gave my word to a few people, so I didn't want to break it. No more drunken episodes! Not in clubs at least.
I've always wondered: Does alcohol make you or does it break you?
In more specific words, does it make you stronger as a person or does it just cause you to put down all defenses and succumb to it's influence? I'll give my thoughts in the next post. But for now, your input would be great.
Picture time!
