Ecstatic? Damn right I am.
I dedicated an entire night to finishing that pathetic work of mediocre art. Yeah, I actually did go an entire night without sleep. Maybe just little naps on my clutter filled desk, but that's about it. After all that hell, I wasn't even happy with the end results. What a bummer right? I know.
As a result of all that, I'm feeling so tired now.
NEED. SLEEP.
My opinion on the question I posed last post: I am in favour of alcohol. Well, perhaps not the after effects of it but rather the immediate effect it gives you. Maybe, it does make you? Maybe, it gives you the inner courage you suppress all the time round. As they say right, a drunken mind speaks of a sober heart. Maybe all that happens when you're under the influence is actually what you really want or feel deep down. Alcohol is just the better excuse for you to be doing it.
However, there's always 2 sides to a coin. Yeah so alcohol does "free" you to a certain extent, but it makes you lose your judgment. Undeniably, the word regret often comes hand in hand with alcohol. We know that all too well.
So my stance? Alcohol is simply not for the weak.
Today, I feel as if I'm losing my voice, which really is horrid timing because I'm performing this weekend. (Yes, I got in!!!) I pray God have mercy on me and grant me the favour of doing well. Even if He has no mercy on me, I sure hope He has mercy on the audience then and still grant me excellence! ;p
