Music: Everlasting Love - Jamie Cullum

I actually feel tired even before completing this post. Long one, mainly due to all the pictures that we managed to snap. We meaning, Karyn and I both haha.

Last weekend, Saturday night, Nick had an open house. In celebration of his new house, of course, and his 19th birthday! Something of which I was not aware of at all.

Kok Seng drove us to Bukit Rimau, where his new house was. It was pretty awesome because it's a non-gated community. So yeah, you know how those are like. Big houses everywhere.

Man United birthday cake!
This is what I call a true fan haha.

Nickkk.
Happy 19th Birthday (:

There was a lottttt of foood. Good food at that. Most of us were being gluttons haha. Kok Seng himself had 5 bowls of ice-kacang. Suffered on the way back though, with no surprise.

Met 2 brothers while we were there. Played cards with them for a bit, talked about some past traumatic experiences and JASON MRAZ(!) Okay no, this does not mean you're allowed to talk about Mraz here. I'm still heartsick over missing his concert. *cries

After almost everyone had left, Nick took us for an obligatory tour around his house. It was spacious, like how a new house always looks like haha. But I liked it. So many rooms.

Kawan

Kawan 2

Kawan-kawan!
I'm so lame.

Uh yours truly :D

We didn't do much after the brothers left. Hung around upstairs. Watched Nick's brother battle it out in DOTA. Is battling even the right term to use for the game? Sorry if it's not, DOTA fans. Kok Seng was pretty much preoccupied with the badminton match that was showing on tv.

Hellloooooooo

Thus, with no one paying us much attention, we got bored and camwhored. I like rhyming :) It was like photo snapping mode on. We took truck loads of pictures, with almost everything around us.

HOOOOGE BEAR!

The bear was seriously ginormous! And heavy also. But it's such a comfortable soft toy. Cuddly and cute. And tres expensive.

The main crowd upstairs.

Karyn stumbled upon Nick's fedora, and the rest was history.

Our very own Ne-Yo *peace!

Then pictures, among ourselves :)

Upside down picturess.

Loser that came too late!

Moustacheeeee

Hm.

HEY! :)

Fail.

Better :)

I seem to be in heaven a lot.

Got home early actually, by my terms. But the parents didn't think so unfortunately. Got in around 1ish? And my dad was at the door, giving me a LOUD lecture aka yelling his head off at me. Got it bad from them that night.

But whatever. I'm used to it.

A horrid way to end

The rest of the weekend was crap. I stayed in like an appropriate decent daughter would and worked on my research paper. Gah.

I miss the simplicity of things; the straightforwardness. It was easy, it was mutual. There were no complications, no thinking twice, no apprehension.

It was spontaneous. It was purely on intuition. Living in the moment. He turned everything around. I miss the escape he gave. Escape from what was before. Things were different within that short span of time.

"I'm so glad I found you."

I'm so sorry I lost you.
