Music: Thunder (acoustic) - Boys Like Girls

I've been blogging in a similar fashion or state lately.

Tired eyes, drained mind, cold hands, empty stomach. Sounds horrible, doesn't it? I've been cooped up in this square box for the past 2 days, desperately finishing off assignments that are all due on the same date.

Are my lecturers on drugs?! Or are they lacking it?

Today, I spent the entire day finishing up my History research paper that is due Monday. I'm officially obsessed with the 1920's. The Jazz Age, the Flapper Lifestyle. All so alluring and personally for me, it just shouts freedom and a need for non-conformity. It's definitely a revolution in society.

"During the 1920s, flapper was the name for young women who dressed provocatively and supposedly were much more open with their sexuality. People of the time usually described flappers as having bobbed hairstyles and wearing thick make-up. The women seemed to want to live life to the fullest, going to clubs, listening to and dancing to jazz music, smoking cigars and cigarettes, and drinking bootleg alcohol."

A brief overview of what I've been studying about. Interesting, innit? I love that era. Music's great, fashion's great. Life's great basically :)

Oh and btw, I fell in love with Fitzgerald wife.

Zelda Sayre

Even her name is so special. I think she looks stunning in this black and white portrait. Her tidily swept hair and those deep eyes. No wonder he dedicated all his books and basically his life to her. Love.

So, tonight was Earth Hour, and me, being the original and natural supporter that I am, switched off my lights. I managed to persuade my entire family into doing the same and so we sat in respective bedrooms in complete and utter darkness. It was really a lot of fun because I was webcamming with Cheryl the entire time who was also in darkness.

We rambling about how cool the entire thing is. Well, mostly I did and really one hour isn't that long. But I got a little bit scared initially because I was home alone and uh, I'm kinda afraid of the dark. *shh secret

I have more work to complete tomorrow and two tests coming up. End of semesters are hell. After this, I'll party. HARD.

Since I can't get any food right now, I'm gonna hit the sack.

Another night.
Let's not hope anymore.
