Before I can even proceed to blogging in the present (2010, babyyyy!), here's my Christmas eve post, spent with none other than the best friends at one of the most crowded places in town during Christmas, the Curve.
We met up Chui Nee's house before hand, took forever to get ready, as usual and left to pick Kok Seng up.
Our driver, Chui Nee.
With Gan KS.
The original plan was to hang at The Library but the cover charge there was ridiculous. 68 bucks to enter. None of us were willing to spend that much. Decided to just get dinner and then maybe sit at Laundry and order some drinks.
Chui Nee suggested we checked out the Apartment because it had a nice ambiance and atmosphere. Waited half an hour for a table and by then, we were all starving. I thought of just getting Subway! But finally we got a table.
There was this Christmas dinner promo going on and the menu for that night were only 3 coursed meals, starting at the price of RM 60. Since there were 4 of us, we decided to order just 2 sets and share, considering we'd definitely not be able to finish all that food and it'd also be easier on the wallets. So placed our order and continued taking pictures!

About 5 minutes later, a different waiter comes back to us and tells us that there would be "Strictly No Sharing" tonight. We were kinda shocked and perplexed. So we tried to coin some story up saying some of us already ate and that we couldn't possibly finish 4 sets to ourselves. The waiter didn't look convinced and stressed again on the "No Sharing" policy.
I was kinda pissed off by that time. First of all, it's one of the stupidest rule to be made in a restaurant. What if a family of 4 came in, with two little toddlers? Are they supposed to order an entire 3 course meal as well? Watch a 5 year old tackle a lobster while his younger brother eats up the pan seared fish? It's really ridiculous and honestly, a very pathetic way to make more money, especially during the festive seasons.
So we left the Apartment and headed upstairs to a more relaxed Pizza restaurant and ate there instead. None of us really cared where we ate anymore, we just wanted to eat haha
Vivo Pizza and Panini I think?
After waiting another grueling half an hour, the food finally came. It was then also Karyn and Adrian met up with us after their separate dinner occasions.
It was close to midnight and we tried getting seats at Laundry but obviously, it was packed to the brim. So we just hung around the fountain, watching people spray foamed snow at each other and took more picturesss.

And Karyn.
Lost devil.
We waited til the clock struck 12 and everybody went rowdy, and then we left before the massive build up started. Adrian had a beautifulll bottle of Chivas that he was willing to share with us, so we headed home to Chui Nee's house for the second half the night.
Awww, someone's sleepy haha!
Back home....
HELLO POISON :D
I lovelovelove you.
Fixing up drinks, I think.
We played drinking card games and then charades again that night. A lot of laughter, undeniably, from everybody in general. We all had our stupid moments that made the night so much fun!
Johan
I don't remember what the card represents anymore
Guessing charades!
The answer for this one was the Princess Diaries.
The night ended close to 4 in the morning, I think? Karyn and I got to a really nice stage of tipsy, if you know what I mean haha. Phone calls and mumblings aside, we got finally got to bed.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It was a good new year's eve. Though spirits felt a little lower this time round, I made it a point to at least get out there and have some fun, and I did!
So, New Year's post next :)
