WELCOME 2010!
The first time blogging in the new year. Currently feeling very stuffed because I made an awesome chicken noodle soup to nurse my flu. I like having flu's though. It's weird.
Anyway, on New Year's Eve, I decided that staying home would not be an option this year. I was so adamant on wanting to make plans and wanting to go somewhere! I wanted the atmosphere, the crowd, the people, the noise, the entire works of a crazy New Year's Eve celebration.
Sadly though, none of my friends this year were into any of it. Most had house parties or had already made prior plans with other people. It got really depressing for me when 7pm rolled around and I still had no concrete plans made.
So I hung around at home and joined in my own house party. Ate a little bit and waited for Cheryl to come to Subang. We were going to meet Snoop to see what could be done for the night. Got ready and we headed to Snoop's house. Turns out his entire family from Penang was there and he had to do the countdown with them. haha
We got invited in to help with the food. Everything was vegetarian but it was yummy! His mom's an awesome cook :) Both Cheryl and I stayed in with Snoop's family and watched fireworks from his apartment. They had their own fireworks too!
Once the countdown was over, we left the place and proceeded with our next plan which was to party at MOS! One of Snoop's friend called and said that girls were allowed to enter for free. I seriously doubted it but I guess it was worth a shot.
Headed over to Sunway and of course it wasn't as his friend had said. Cover for that night was 70 bucks per person. No way was I going to spend 70 bucks getting in there.
We walked around the place and decided to enter Republic. There was a huge stage set outside there were quite a number of people partying too. Music seemed decent so why not? Got a Long Island upon entrance and we dancedd for a good hour or so. Pretty fun!
Cheryllll :)
The dogg haha
Super sweaty after dancing.
The place was relatively crowded.
Wacko wacko
Atmosphere outside.
Was too tired to dance outside.
We left the place and then headed over to Starbucks to visit our co-workers! They were still in the store cleaning up the place. Hung around, said hi and just relaxed since our car was parked wayy farrr awaaaayyy. Just thinking of it made me tired. Anyway, received a lolly as a New Year's gift from the store :D
We started walking back through the mall because it was easier and cooler, as in the temperature. Of course, being in an empty mall late at night made for a lot of fun as well!
Stole a Christmas ornament! :O
Found a children's playground and hung around there.
I got to keep the fancy feather/ornament thing.
Bumming.
Happy New Yearrrr :)
Continued walking around until we got chased out by one guard. Oh but justttt before we left, we managed to get Patrick!
:D
Whilst Cheryl had her shiny red race car haha
Got home happy and exhausted.

Jan 1st, 2010
Headed to Bangsar with the best friends on the first day of the year. Dinner was at Nirwana's banana leaf rice since Karyn had not eaten it before.
Yummy food but portion was huge. I don't think any of us finished our food except the boys, who had seconds.
Juju 3?
Driver lah.
Halfway through, I got a call from Claire saying they would be at Quattro that night. Since it was Claire's birthday, I decided to join them. Have never been to Quattro before since all I ever hear are bad ratings about it.
Jill picked me up from Bangsar and then Zheng Hwang, and it was off to KL in my tank top and flip flops. I was so under dressed, it was quite embarrassing! :\
Zheng Hwang! who is leaaavinggg :(
Jillian, also leaving. Sigh
Seniors who came back.
;p
Shoma and I
South Carolina and South Dakota are 2 completely different places, right?
haha
Amelia's also back!
The night was great. Had a lot of fun with Claire's friend and the seniors and our Hennessy of course. Had to drive Claire home because she wasn't in a very suitable condition. Not like I was either but I was a safer bet compared to her. It was pretty damn scary approaching road blocks but thankfully, we made it through phew! I think it's the first and last time I'd want to be doing that :\
I don't have a decent one of me and you :(
But anyways,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAIREEE!
Party again sometime this week perhaps ;)

Highlights on 2009 up next. It's been a relatively good year for me. A lot of new experiences and I just feel myself getting older by the minute.
Yet, there's still so much I want to do with my life. So many dreams to make real. It's a gamble, growing up, taking risks, making decisions.
Anyway, wait for it :)

I can't help but count the days. I know things are going to be different from now on. I don't even dare imagine how it will unfold. I get dreams of it every now and then; of every possibility. Every name that could possibly appear. Today it was one. What will it be tomorrow?
I told myself to stop wearing my heart on my sleeve. So I'm not going to admit to anyone anymore. Only I know. Only I will know.
I never thought I'd say this to you: Why are you so far away?
