I'm trying really hard to give you guys a decent update but I have been slacking where pictures are concerned and truth be told, I haven't done much. I'm not too worried though because I have the entire summer to check Colorado out.
What I have been experiencing greatly, however, is homesickness. It's weird because the last time I left, I didn't feel homesick until the last 2 weeks of my trip. But this time, maybe because not everything is new and wonderful like it was anymore, I've really missed all the people back home and my cats. Hm.
Let's hope it gets better for me :(
So things I have realized about Colorado. The weather is tricky. Sure it's sunshine and bliss during the day but once it starts to get dark, temperature can vary up to 20 degrees. I'm always freezing at night but I'm just fine during the day. Got sick for a bit there too.
While walking the dog, I grabbed some snow.
Feels like shaved ice to me hahaha
This is Cooper.
He LOVES the snow.
We dropped by the mall a couple of days back. Well, it was more like an outdoor mall where it's just like this big area with a lot of stores and brands built next to each other. Not like your usual mall, instead of floors, they have streets. Anyway, it was pretty exciting to see so many brands and I just could not wait to shop!
This is inside a candy store.
So colorful and tempting!
So colorful and tempting!
Also, attended my first ever garage sale. I guess a lot of people have garage sales during summer because they do they cleaning in the spring, hence the term spring cleaning (I'm a born genius!). And when they have so much junk, instead of throwing it all away, they sell it and make money. Brilliant.
A lot of stuff.
They had everything from clothes to television. I bought my polaroid camera for 1 buck. ONE DOLLAR. Insane.
Well, I'm heading out now. Gonna see downtown Denver! Another write up soon.
Have a good week guys.
