So I left Seattle and arrived safely in Denver but of course with a great deal of nausea because the plane ride was really bumpy and the landing was horrible. I could literally feel my gut in my throat. Could not be more thrilled to touch solid ground.
Carmen and her boyfriend were there at Denver International Airport to pick me up! It's great seeing her after an entire year. Here's a picture of Carmen and I, the two very attractive ladies we are.
:D
I'm just kidding.
Here we are, in black and white :)
I have no pictures of Andrew yet but I'm sure I'll get some soon enough. He hangs around here all the time. Andrew being Carmen's boyfriend ;)
So I am currently suffering some pretty bad jet lag. It's almost 12am here but I am wide awake while everyone is sleeping. Yes, including the dog. But then again, it's kinda like in my nature to be wide awake during the night. Vamp ;)
Anyway, my luggage got delayed yesterday because it didn't come with me on the same flight. So I got all my clothes this morning and started to unpack. I stayed indoors mostly because I was lacking warm clothes and wasn't brave enough to even open the door. The weather during the day is still pretty cold and windy too, so that's hard.
Tonight, I had yummy sesame chicken and steamed rice. Last night was tacos and soup from Chipotle. By the end of this trip, I could probably tell you some pretty good eateries :D
So, I'm actually living in the suburbs, about a half hour away from downtown Denver I suppose. Pictures from the late evening. It was raining the entire day which made it even colder.
Close neighborhood
Because the entire day was so cold and rainy, this happened.
Not quite sure what I'm talking about?
SNOW!!!
Outside was covered with snow!
The grass.
I was freaking excited to see this happen. Completely and totally flipped. Ran out with only flip flops on to get some pictures of the snow. It was freezing out and I kept licking the snowflakes off my lips. Hahaha. I was like a little girl in a candy store!
What's left on my hair.
Badddd picture but just to show that it's...snowing!!
Okay, I'll stop now :)
That's all for tonight. The drowsiness is starting to kick in and I can't wait to snuggle under my blankets and warm my toes up :)
More pictures soon alright.
