1. You have no idea how many songs I still cannot listen to because it makes me travel through time and space to the exact time where I once knew you. It's when that chord strikes and that key plays that I see myself sitting alone in my room with tears that have been streaming down my face for the past 2 hours, staring helplessly at my phone and wondering. Wondering where you were when you said you'd call me earlier that morning.
It puzzles me to have sat through the everything you put me through. The amount of beatings I let myself take and the hits that came over and over again until I couldn't feel anything more. At that point, I thought that if I loved you enough, you'd one day stop. That if I loved you a little bit more, you'd see it and you wouldn't hurt me anymore. If I loved a little longer, you'd love me too and it'll all change.
What I didn't realize was I loved you too much.
2. It's not that I throw myself out there. It's not that I even really like half the people who touch me. I just want everyone I meet to walk away with a part of me until there's nothing left to hold; there's nothing left to hate.
