You Say You Want A Revolution?

Music: Opposite Of Adults - Chiddy Bang

'Sup, homeslice?!

Alright. It's a Sunday night and I've had a relatively productive day. I went to work, read an entire novel that was assigned, did some kickass yoga, went to my newspaper meeting and now I'm back home, slumped lazily on my very uncomfortable couch and taking a break from some homework.

Life is better.

It's been such a rough weekend for me. Never in my life have I acted so out of line and so embarrassingly. I am thoroughly ashamed of myself. Lesson learned: drink and just pass out. No need for drama.

But you'll be pleased to know that I have decided to let it all go. People have all these metaphors for the situation I am in but I'm not gonna include any of it in here because I know what I need to do. I need to suck all the poison out of my life and live for the things that truly matter. The relationships that are beautiful instead of the ones that are noxious. The moments that whence being reminisced upon brings a smile to your face instead of a frown.

I've always been way too impatient with things. I've decided to take a step back now and pick the things I deserve instead of anything that's being thrown my way. To extents, I feel like my behavior on Friday night was cumulatively a whole range of emotions that has suppressed for a very long time. It's true that I mostly tend to bottle up emotions, so I eventually just exploded because all the weight that's been weighing me down ended up being too heavy. Something in me snapped and I realized I just cannot walk around with iron bars around my heart. It hurts way too much.

So I'm getting rid of all of it. At the end of the day, it's not my loss, it's yours.

Greatest thing that happened to me today would be french braids! Ugh they're just so damn beautiful.

Voila!
All credits given to my roommate Susanna :)

That's it guys. I'm opening up this week with a lot of positivism and hope? I know it sounds like a bad idea already but wish me luck! Have an awesome week, all of you too!
